From the last run of the Japanese built Atlantises.
Its my first new Rivendell; my other one I bought used. The beauty/quality of the paint job blew my effin mind. I kinda wanted to just hang it on the wall as a serious piece of art, but that would be silly because this bike has a lot of fun riding ahead of it.
With less than 50 miles on it, I already put some serious beausage on it when a chainsuck issue scratched up my chainstays pretty good. Oh well, the first bit of much beausage for this bike probably.
Having ridden mostly 700c/29ers the last couple years, this 26er feels quite nimble. Lots of fun.
Long live skinny tubes and fat tires.
